Crossroads Vilalge

ABOUT

Crossroads Village was a former 200 unit motel in north Fresno, California, first converted to temporary housing for individuals and families at risk of homelessness via a $15.3 million California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) Project Homekey grant. Through financing from the HCD No Place Like Home program, Housing for a Healthy California program, Housing Accelerator program, and Fresno County Capital Funds, the interim housing was fully rehabbed into permanent housing.

Crossroads Village has a mix of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom units, with 143 permanent housing units overall. Crossroads has indoor and outdoor community spaces, including a playground, pool, dog run, and picnic area. The units are made affordable through operating subsidies provided by the Fresno Housing Authority, Fresno Teachers Association, and Fresno Unified School District. Services are offered to all residents on site by the Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health.
